It’s not been easy. I sank myself into a hard life of loneliness, filling void with emptiness. I dug and walked down the deep hell of alcoholism, random sex and self-destruction. But I managed to get out alive. Partly. And, three years in and out, I have finally been able to deliver not a book, but a testament of decay, self-deprecation and, somewhat, hope. Has it been worth it? Hard to tell at this juncture. Time will tell. Life will tell. And readers, if any, will have a saying too.
